Myanmar
Myanmar, formally the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, is a Southeast Asian country known as Burma (the official name until 1989). It is the largest country by land area in Mainland Southeast Asia, with a population of over 54 million people in 2017.
Cambodia
Cambodia is located on the Indochina peninsula’s southwestern coast. It shares a 2,615-kilometer border with Vietnam (1,270 kilometres), Thailand (805 kilometres), and Laos (540 kilometres). It has an area of 181,035 square kilometres, which is roughly half the size of Japan.
Seychelles
Seychelles is an island country in the Indian Ocean that consists of 115 islands. It is located east of mainland Africa, with Madagascar being the closest neighbour. The geography is made up of thin coastal strips and core mountain ranges.
Australia
Australia is the smallest continent and one of the largest countries on the planet, located in the Southern Hemisphere between the Pacific and Indian seas. Canberra, Australia’s capital, is located in the southeast, between the larger and more important economic and cultural capitals of Sydney and Melbourne.
Mauritius
Mauritius is an island nation in the southwest Indian Ocean off the southeast coast of Africa. It is situated to the east of Madagascar. The main island is volcanic in origin and is almost totally encircled by a dangerous coral reef.
France
France is one of the world’s oldest countries and the most ethnically diversified in Europe. These deep and diverse influences have made France a world leader in practically every facet of culture throughout history, including food, winemaking, politics, philosophy, music, art, film, fashion, literature, and sports.
Switzerland
Switzerland is a small mountainous country in the heart of Europe. This landlocked country, around the size of New Jersey, is located between France and Italy. It also shares borders with Austria, Germany, and Liechtenstein.
Indonesia
Indonesia is the largest country in Southeast Asia, measuring approximately 3,200 miles (5,100 km) from east to west and 1,100 miles (1,800 km) from north to south. It borders Malaysia in the northwestern section of Borneo and Papua New Guinea in the heart of New Guinea.
Maldives
The Republic of the Maldives is located south-west of the Indian subcontinent. It is made up of roughly 1,200 islands, the most of which are deserted. None of the coral islands rise higher than 1.8 metres (six feet) above sea level, leaving the country vulnerable to any sea-level rise caused by global warming.
Canada
Canada is the western hemisphere’s largest country and one of the world’s largest. Canada is located in northern North America, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west, and northward into the Arctic Ocean.
