Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi | Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh (Approx 07 Hrs Drive by Road)

Leave for Rishikesh, your first stop on the Rishikesh Mussoorie journey, as soon as you arrive in Delhi. Enjoy a magnificent journey as you depart the city and head towards the Himalayan foothills.

Rishikesh is a stunning city that is a centre for both spirituality and adventure, located in Uttarakhand on the banks of the Ganga in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh, also known as the "Yoga Capital of the World," provides a wide range of spiritual encounters. The Char Dham Yatra, which includes Gangotri, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Kedarnath, is a significant pilgrimage for Hindus, and as such it is of great religious significance as well. The close vicinity of the mountains and the swift-moving Ganga River provide plenty of opportunities to push your limits, making adventure activities an unparalleled delight. If spirituality and adventure are not your thing, Rishikesh offers the ultimate escape from the everyday bustle of big cities, right in the lap of nature.

When you get in Rishikesh, ask for help checking into the accommodation. For the day, unwind. Walk to Triveni Ghat if you have the time and the energy. The famous river ghat in Rishikesh serves as a sacred location for Ganges River bathing. Visitors come to Rishikesh from all over the world because they believe that taking a dip in the Ganga at Triveni Ghat will wash away a lifetime's worth of sins. Enjoy the Ganga Aarti ceremonies at dusk on the Triveni Ghat.

Return to the hotel and spend the night there.

Day 2 - Rishikesh Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Rishikesh before continuing your day.

The Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is the first stop. One of the most revered temples of Lord Shiva in the nation is Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, which is situated around 35 miles from Rishikesh at a height of 1330 metres. The temple, according to a tradition, symbolises the spot where Lord Shiva ingested poison that emerged from Samudra, which caused his throat to turn blue and gave the Lord the name Neelkanth. After asking for blessings, move on to the following attraction.

Visit Bharat Mandir after that. The shrine was built by Adiguru Shankaracharya in the 12th century and houses Lord Vishnu, who was carved out of a single piece of saligram. The precious Shree Yanthra is housed under the inner canopy of the temple.

Arrive at Shivpuri last. The picturesque location beside the river is well renowned for its breathtaking vistas, as well as for being a hot spot for high-adrenaline activities like bungee jumping and river rafting.

Get back to the hotel for the night after a successful day of sightseeing and adventure sports.

Day 3 - Drive from Rishikesh to Mussoorie

After breakfast the following morning, pack your things and leave the hotel. Embark on a journey to Mussoorie, your next stop, by getting on the road. The nearly 3-hour trip is a beautiful ride when you gradually approach the foggy mountains.

Mussoorie, which is 1880 metres above sea level and is located at the foot of the Garhwal Himalayas, offers beautiful views of the Shivalik mountain ranges that are covered with snow. Offering a getaway from the city and the chance to completely immerse in nature's lap and savour the refreshing pleasures, Mussoorie offers a restorative family vacation or even a romantic honeymoon.

When you get to Mussoorie, check into your hotel. You can choose to freshen up and take a stroll through the hill town, particularly along the Mall Road, while taking in the peace and mountain air.

In the motel, spend the night.

Day 4 - Sightseeing in Mussoorie

Enjoy the gentle mountain breeze as you awaken. Enjoy a hearty breakfast as you prepare for the day. Start your sightseeing day by stopping by one of Mussoorie's well-known tourist destinations. Enjoy the nice weather while taking in the sights. Lal Tibba, Mussoorie's highest point, and Gun Hill, the town's second-highest viewpoint, both provide breathtaking views of the Himalayas in all their snow-capped majesty. The manmade lake in the Municipal Gardens, popularly known as the Botanical Gardens of Mussoorie, makes for the ideal picnic location and offers boating amenities. Camel's Back Road provides a stunning sunset view and an exact replica of a sitting camel.

The Kempty Falls in Mussoorie are the most spectacular tourist destination. The stunning waterfall is located 15 km from Mussoorie on the Yamunotri Road and offers a breathtaking experience. Take a plunge in the autumn's chilly water and have fun splashing around in the pool.

Return to Mussoorie later. Discover the hill town's colonial attractions. Visit the structures from the British era and browse the market for trinkets.

Return to the hotel after a fun-filled day and spend a relaxing night there.

Day 5 - Drive from Mussoorie to Delhi

Today marks the conclusion of the Rishikesh Mussoorie tour's five mesmerising days in Uttarakhand. Pack your things and check out of the hotel after a delectable breakfast there. Resuming your drive towards Delhi will allow you to depart from there for your next stop.
