This 15-night, 16-day vacation titled “In the Footsteps of Buddha” is ideal for Buddhist devotees.

This voyage will take you to locations significant in Lord Buddha’s life. You will be able to travel through King Siddhartha’s life until he became Buddha and obtained enlightenment.

You will also have the opportunity to visit historic Buddhist structures. Along with Lucknow, you will also tour the cities of the Golden Triangle.

Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi

Once in Delhi, request a helper to assist you in getting to the hotel. In the motel, spend the night.

Day 2 - Delhi Local Sightseeing

Following breakfast, you'll leave the hotel to take in some local New Delhi sightseeing.

Qutub Minar, a 72.5-meter victory tower and fine example of Afghan architecture, has been designated a World Heritage Site. QutubuddinAibak constructed QutubMinar in the 12th century.

Bahai Temple: This temple is located in South Delhi and is often referred to as "The Lotus Temple" because of its marble construction and distinctive lotus shape. The Baha'i community constructed the temple in 1987. Every Monday is a holiday.

Drive past the India Gate, Parliament House, and Chanakya Puri after that, which is where all the high commissions and embassies are situated.

Shahjahan, who also constructed the Taj Mahal in Agra, built the Red Fort between 1639 and 1648. (Monday Closed) Old Fort: Only on Monday. Built in 1648 by Shahjahan, who also constructed Agra's Taj Mahal.

Rajghat: The straightforward structure of a square platform made of black marble indicates the location of Mahatama Gandhi's cremation.

Return to the hotel for an additional night's stay in New Delhi.

Day 3 - Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast, leave for Jaipur by car. Check in at the hotel when you get there. Relax, then spend the afternoon shopping or engaging in other leisure activities at the nearby markets. In the motel, spend the night.

Day 4 - Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, make your way to Amber Fort, where you can pay extra to ride an elephant there. It is a Rajasthani hill fort that has been designated by UNESCO. Return to Jaipur city later in the day for sightseeing. Visit the magnificent Rajput sites and take in the splendour of the Rajputs. Include sights like City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Nawab Saheb ki Haveli, and so forth. The neighbourhood bazaars offer a wide range of shopping delights.

Return to the hotel now to spend the night in Jaipur.

Day 5 - Jaipur - Agra

Start your trip to Agra after breakfast. Cover Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital that is now desolate, en way. Check in at the hotel as soon as you get there in Agra. Visit the Red Fort, Taj Mahal, and Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb in the afternoon. Stay over night.

Day 6 - Agra - Varanasi

Visits to Itmad-ud-Dualah Tomb and Agra Fort are planned for Day 6. After that, find a helper to take you to the train station so you can take an overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 7 - Varanasi

Visits to Itmad-ud-Dualah Tomb and Agra Fort are planned for Day 6. Afterward, our tour agent will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel. Prepare yourself before setting out on a spiritual visit to Banaras Hindu University, the pristine ghats, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and Kaal Bhairav Temple. You will also go to Sarnath, one of the four principal Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Deer Park, Chaukhandi Stupa, and Sarnath Museum are the three prominent sights of Sarnath.

Attend the renowned Ganga Aarti later in the evening to give your soul comfort.

Hotel stay for the night.Need a helping hand to get to the train station so you can take an overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 8 - Varanasi - Bodhgaya

Start the day off right by taking a soothing boat trip on the revered Ganges River. then proceed to Bodhgaya.

Day 9 - Bodhgaya

You'll go to the Mahabodhi Temple on day nine. As the location of Buddha's enlightenment, the shrine has the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the complex is a branch of the Bodhi Tree, under which Buddha attained enlightenment.

Stay over night.

Day 10 - Patna

Take a road trip to Patna. Visit Rajgir, Saptaparni Cave, Nalanda, and Venevamas while you're travelling.

In the motel, spend the night.

Day 11 - Vaishali - Kushinagar

On day 11, depart for Vaishali, the location of Lord Buddha's final discourse and his proclamation of Parnirvana (paradise beyond death). Visit Chaumukhi, the Lotus Tank, and the Ashok Pillar, one of the five Ashoka pillars found throughout the Indian subcontinent.

After the expedition, prepare for the next stop, Kushinagar, where you'll spend the night.

Day 12 - Kushinagar - Lumbini

A half-day Kushinagar tour will take you to the contemporary Japan Sri Lanka Temple, Mahanirvana Temple, and a few nearby shrines.

Continue on to Lumbini later. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay after arrival.

Day 13- Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Shravasti - Balrampur

Enjoy a tour of Ashoka's Pillar, which is located in a sal forest, Mayadevi Temple, the ruins of an old monastery, and a few other tourist sights in the morning. Leave in the afternoon towards Balrampur. Cover Shravasti along the way to see the Jetavana Monastery and the ruins of an old city.

Check into the hotel for the night when you arrive.

Day 14 - Balrampur- Lucknow

A city trip is scheduled for Day 14. depart for Lucknow after midday. After arrival, arrange for a transfer to the hotel for the duration of the stay.

Day 15 - Lucknow

Start the day off well with a delicious breakfast before setting out on a fun sightseeing tour. Visit Imambara and Rumi Darwaza. Transfer to the airport later to board a flight for Delhi. Check into the hotel for the night when you arrive in the capital city.

Day 16 - Departure

Your At the Footsteps of Buddha journey comes to an end on day 16. For your flight back home or to your next location, you will be transported to the Delhi International Airport.
