Delhi, where you first arrive, is India's political and cultural melting pot. The city, which is strewn with countless tourist sites from various ages, offers something for every type of traveller. In addition to its attractions, Delhi's street cuisine is very popular. Due to its toxic fusion of the old and new worlds, Delhi city is deserving of its position as the capital of India.
The second day will be used to tour Delhi's top tourist destinations. Prepare yourself for the tour of Old and New Delhi. Cycle Richshaw Ride through the streets of Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, and Humayun Tomb are a few of the day's highlights.
Old Delhi's markets are a mash-up of goods, food, and entertainment. In the wholesale markets of Old Delhi, you can find anything you can imagine. Although Chandni Chowk is well renowned for its wedding attire, it also has the biggest wholesale spice market in Asia, Khari Baoli. And when it comes to eating, ancient Delhi has mouthwatering orgasmic dishes. Ride a rickshaw here if you like.
Along with Alai Darwaza and The Tomb of Iltutmish, Qutub Minar, a 100-meter-tall minaret built during the 12th century, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque is located on the first floor of the Minar. The Quranic phrases are incised in the red sandstone, marble, and sandstone that make up Qutub Minar. The fourth and fifth levels are made of marble and sandstone, while the first three floors are made of red sandstone.
The Red Fort, another Delhi location on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is where the nation celebrates its Independence Day. After breakfast today, check out of the hotel and see the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, two of Agra's top tourist attractions. The Taj Mahal, a mausoleum made of white marble that was built over the course of 22 years, is not only one of the Seven Wonders of the World but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1632 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in honour of his cherished wife Mumtaz on the southern bank of the River Yamuna. This stunning building is a fusion of Islamic, Indian, Mughal, and Persian architectural styles. The intimidating Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort, is a World Heritage Site that has a mystical allure. This 16th-century structure boasts four enormous doors and walls that are 70 feet high. The fort complex has well-kept, lush gardens, and the interiors are decorated with exquisite stonework, mirror work, and gold and semi-precious stone carvings.
Sikandara, the tomb of the famous Mughal emperor Akbar, is next in line. The Emperor's bones are kept in this tomb, which is situated outside the city. During his lifetime, Akbar ordered the monument's construction, and his son Jahangir later constructed the top structure.

Take a guided transport to Jaipur, the "Pink City," the capital of Rajasthan, and stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Continue to Jaipur, the state's capital and largest city, which is also home to a number of historical landmarks like forts and palaces, vibrant bazaars, and more. One of the most well-liked travel destinations in India, the lively Jaipur draws both domestic and foreign travellers in large numbers. The city was established in 1727. It's essential to gorge on mouthwatering Rajasthani cuisine. Check in at a city's upscale hotel when you arrive.
Today will be spent touring the well-known Jaipur landmarks, such as the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Museum, and the Amber fort. Visit Jaipur's vibrant local marketplaces when you have spare time to find fantastic items including handicrafts, ethnic wear, semi-precious jewels, Lac bangles, fake jewellery, and more.
The city centre, which is located on a hilltop, is about 11 kilometres from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Amber Fort (Amer Fort). It is a well-preserved monument that Raja Man Singh I built in 1592. This stunning piece of red sandstone and white marble is embellished with mirrors, precious stones, and paintings. Choose to ride an elephant up to the fort's entryway.
The Hawa Mahal is not only a well-liked sight but also a landmark due of the extraordinary positioning of numerous tiny windows (Jharokhas), which give the building its honeycomb-like appearance. While avoiding the public, the royal ladies would gaze out of these windows at the market. It is made of pink and red sandstone, and Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh ordered it in 1799.
The Amber king Sawai Jai Singh II ordered the construction of the City Palace complex, which was constructed between 1729 and 1732. The Jaipur royal family still lives in part of the Palace, but the most of it has been turned into a museum. A great collection of royal apparel, artwork, photos, musical instruments, fabrics, costumes, and other items may be found in this museum.

Transfer to the airport in the morning to catch a flight to Cochin. When you get to Fort Kochi, check into your accommodation. a day off for recreation. Spend the night in Cochin.
Today is set aside for exploring Fort Kochi and Cochin, which are both located just 7 kilometres apart. The thriving Cochin metropolis, often known as Kochi or Ernakulam, serves as the financial hub of the state. Travellers from all around the world frequently stop by the metropolitan centre. There are several tourist attractions in the city. The historic town of Fort Kochi, a very well-liked tourist destination in the area, is close to Cochin. Dutch monuments, a Jewish synagogue, churches, Chinese fishing nets, and other attractions are among the top sights that you should see while you are here.
Chinese fishing nets, known locally as Cheenavala, are unique to this nation and are a favourite tourist destination. These 10 m high nets are installations that are installed in the ground and employ an uncommon approach for fishing. The well-known Chinese explorer Zheng He is credited with introducing this technique to the area. Fishermen still employ this age-old technique, which is dispersed all along the coastline. The Jewish Synagogue is the oldest synagogue among the 53 Commonwealth of Nations members. This building, also known as Paradesi Synagogue and Mattancherry Synagogue, was built long back in 1568. Enjoy a beautiful Kathakali dance performance throughout the evening. The state of Kerala's traditional dance is called kathakali.
The next two days will be of utmost interest to you if you are a wildlife enthusiast. Travel to Thekkady, where the well-known Periyar national park is located, in the morning. Thekkady is a stunning town famed for its wealth of wildlife and greenery from spice plantations. Once there, check into your hotel or resort.
Tigers, elephants, sambars, Nilgiri langurs, Nilgiri tahrs, sloth bears, deer, and lion-tailed macaques all call Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park, which is spread across an area of 777 sq km, home. Over 265 kinds of birds call this wildlife reserve home, making it a haven for bird watchers. Bird watching allows you to see a variety of colourful resident and migratory species, including the Blue-winged Parakeet, Crimson-backed Sunbird, Malabar Grey Hornbill, White-bellied Blue Flycatcher, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, Nilgiri Flycatcher, and Nilgiri Thrush. One of the biggest attractions in this area is the man-made lake.
Stay the night in Periyar.
There will be plenty of excitement and action today. Even though there are a number of methods to experience the sanctuary's animals, such as boating, walking, and jeep safaris, the best way to do so is to go boating on the Periyar Lake. Elephant herds can be seen drinking from lakes to alleviate their thirst.
Thekkady's lush green spice plantations can be visited as one of the additional possibilities. Take leisurely strolls while inhaling the aromas of cardamom, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. You can unwind at your wildlife resort and take use of the amenities available there as the safari is conducted twice day. You can also go to the Kalariyapattu performance, a traditional marshal art exhibition, which is held here in the evening.

Transfer to Alleppey, arguably Kerala's most well-known backwater destination, on the tour's eleventh day. Once there, board the luxurious Kettuvallam, a houseboat with all the amenities. Once you've settled into your houseboat, get ready for an unforgettable adventure as you cruise around Kerala's backwaters. Alleppey or Alappuzha, also referred to as the Venice of the East, is surrounded by numerous canals and other waterways. You pass by these beautiful water bodies while you travel on the overnight house. Visit the communities scattered around the area, the toddy tappers hard at work, the nearby coir businesses, the lush paddy and coconut groves, and other sights. Don't forget to look out for colourful water birds and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Enjoy each and every second of this wonderful adventure.
Spend the night on the houseboat.
Disembark from the houseboat on the twelfth day in Kumarakom, a popular tourist destination. Transfer to your resort in a remote area. You have two days to visit this lovely, tranquil village, which is a collection of islands on Kerala's largest freshwater lake, Lake Vembanad. This well-known tourist spot is crowded with visitors from all around the world and appears to be totally magical. A benefit of visiting this backwater resort is the tranquil atmosphere of Kumarakom. In the backwater, unwind. Stay over night.
Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (Vembanad Bird Sanctuary), a haven for ornithologists and bird watchers alike. This 14-acre bird sanctuary is home to both resident and migratory birds of a wide range of species. Numerous avifauna species, such as teals, herons, darters, cuckoos, egrets, wild ducks, waterfowl, Siberian storks, and others, can be seen.
