Extended North India with Nepal travel, a 16-night, 17-day travel package, allows you to see well-known places in northern India as well as Nepal. Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

You receive assistance in getting from the airport to your accommodation in Delhi. The day is free-flowing. We advise you to make the most of the time by visiting the city's well-known markets or taking advantage of the street cuisine and nightlife. Spend the night.

Day 2 - Delhi

After breakfast, set out on a city tour that includes the Laxmi Narayan Temple, the India Gate, the Parliament Building, the Qutab Minar, and the Tomb of Humayun. You visit the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Gandhi Memorial in Old Delhi in the afternoon after lunch. An nightly sound and light spectacle is scheduled. Spend the night.

Day 3 - Delhi - Jaipur

On the morning of the 3rd day, begin your drive towards Jaipur. On arriving, check into your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. You can explore the nearby surroundings on foot, can relish authentic Rajasthani dishes, can interact with the locals. Stay overnight.

Day 4 - Jaipur

Leave this morning for a quick excursion to the Amer Fort, where you can ride elephants up to the fort's entrance. You see the last of Jaipur's sights in the afternoon, after lunch, including the Royal Observatory, the Hawa Mahal, and City Palace with its lovely courtyards and gardens that perfectly combine Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Shop until you drop in the evening at the neighbourhood bazaar. Spend the night.

Day 5 - Jaipur - Agra

On the fifth day, start your journey to Agra. Visit Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient ghost town built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, while travelling. Discover its spectacular buildings, such as the Panch Mahal, the Buland Darwaza, the Palace of Jodha Bai, and the Jama Masjid. After arriving in Agra, finish the check-in procedures at your hotel. Later, depart to see Agra Fort, often referred to as Red Fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site provides evidence of the Mughals' architectural genius. The final stop is Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, often referred to as Baby Taj. Spend the night.

Day 6 - Agra - Khajuraho

Experience a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal, which is even more stunning in the early morning light. This mausoleum made of white marble is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After that, arrive in time for your transfer to the train station to catch a train to Jhansi before continuing on by road to Khajuraho. Check in at your hotel after arrival. The remainder of the day will be spent on guided tours of the temples in the Eastern and Western groups. These temples, which are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were built under the Chandela emperors. Spend the night.

Day 7 - Khajuraho - Varanasi

Get transferred to the airport on day 7 so you can catch a flight to Varanasi. You proceed to your reserved hotel as soon as you arrive. The remainder of the day will be spent at Sarnath. It is a village that is home to the well-known deer park where the Buddha first preached and taught the Dharma. Returning to Varanasi to spend the night.

Day 8 - Varanasi

Varanasi sightseeing is planned for today. Enjoy an early morning boat trip around the bathing ghats to start your day. After eating breakfast, explore the city's Ghats and famous temples such the Tulsi Manas and Bharat Mata temples as well as the Alamgir Mosque. You can wander through the neighbourhood market in the evening and go to the Ganga Arti on the revered Ganges River bank. Spend the night.

Day 9 - Varanasi - Shivpatinagar

After breakfast, start your car and head for Shivpatinagar. Stop in Kushinagar, a little town where Gautan Buddha obtained Nirvana, along the trip. Visit your hotel to check in after you arrive at Shivpatinagar. Visit Kapilvastu afterwards to see where Buddha spent his formative years. Gala dinner featuring barbeque and cultural performances is available. Spend the night.

Day 10 - Shivpatinagar - Chitwan

Day 10's morning is free for leisure. You are driven to Chitwan via road following lunch. You stop in at Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, which is now a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site, on the way. After you arrive in Chitwan, check into your accommodation and finish the check-in procedures.

Day 11 - Chitwan National Park

You visit Chitwan National Park on the eleventh day of the journey to indulge in jungle pursuits like nature walks and bird watching. You can go on an elephant safari at Nepal's first national park. You can see animals like a Mugger crocodile, Bengal tiger, one-horned rhino, white-throated kingfisher, male paradise flycatcher, etc. while on a safari through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Attending a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance is scheduled for this evening. Spend the night.

Day 12 - Chitwan - Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara, one of Nepal's top tourist destinations, after breakfast in the morning. Complete the check-in procedures at your hotel after arriving. Spend the afternoon at leisure by taking a stroll along the lake. Enjoy the surrounding area's scenic splendour. Spend the night.

Day 13 - Pokhara

Take an hour-long boat ride on one of the nation's most picturesque locations, Phewa Lake, in the early morning. Forests and snow-capped peaks surround this stunning lake on all sides. Don't forget to visit the neighbouring temple that is in the midst of the lake later. Later, you travel to Sarangkot, a traditional Nepalese village where you can stroll around, talk to residents, and take in their way of life. Set out on your return trip to Pokhara to spend the night.

Day 14 - Pokhara - Kathmandu

After breakfast today, you start your journey towards Kathmandu. Complete the check-in procedures at your reserved hotel upon arrival. The afternoon is free for individual pursuits like meeting the locals and enjoying their cuisine, etc. Spend the night.

Day 15 - Kathmandu

Day 15 is exclusively for sightseeing. The first day is dedicated to touring Bhaktapur, a historic Nepalese town that is now a World Heritage Site and is renowned for its vibrant culture, magnificent temples, and works of art. Visit the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, afterwards to get Darshan. The final stop of the day is Boudhnath, a World Heritage Site that is home to one of the largest ancient stupas in the entire world. Spend the night.

Day 16 - Kathmandu

Enjoy sightseeing in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city, and Patan, also known as Manigal, which is well-renowned for its traditional art and craft, on the sixteenth day of the trip. Visit the Hanuman Durbar Square, Kopan Monastery, Dakshinkali Temple, etc. while in Kathmandu. Visit places in Patan include the Mahabouddha Temple, the Patan Museum, and the Patan Durbar Square. Spend the night.

Day 17 - Kathmandu - Departure Delhi

The tour comes to an end today, so you receive assistance getting to the airport so you can catch a flight to Delhi. Change and freshen up when you arrive. After supper, take a transfer to the airport so you can catch your next trip.
