This marble mausoleum was constructed in 1632 for Mumtaz Mahal, the adored wife of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This enormous building, which took more than 22 years to build, is frequently cited as a magnificent example of Mughal architecture because it incorporates elements of Islamic, Indian, Persian, and Ottoman Turkish architecture. The intricate calligraphy, such as jali, inlay, and semi-precious stones, are a few of the Taj's most attractive features.

After inspecting and admiring the famous wonder, you can return to the hotel and unwind for a little before leaving to visit other destinations.

Akbar's mausoleum is located in Sikandra. The majestic Tomb of Akbar the Great is surrounded by beautiful, serene environment, and you might even see deer freely roaming the area. Prior to his passing, it is reported that Akbar himself ordered the red sandstone; nonetheless, his son Jahangir finished the building. The mausoleum's design was influenced by a variety of architectural styles, including Hindu, Jain, Islamic, Buddhist, and Christian designs.

The enormous Agra Fort is another UNESCO World Heritage Site that you can visit and take a tour of. Red sandstone was also used to construct this walled city during the reign of Raja Badal Singh.
