India Pilgrim Tours’ Kuari Pass ‘The Lord Curzon Trail’ hiking package lasts 9 nights and 10 days. This route is very popular among national and international trekkers. Lord Curzon landed at Kuari Pass in 1905 and made the subsequent walk, which is now known as The Curzon Trail.
This walk is not only moderately strenuous, but it also allows you to marvel at the grandeur of the Garhwal Himalayan region. You pass through pastures, meadows, and forests, as well as climb and stroll along stream banks.

After an early breakfast on the second day of the tour, travel by road to Ghat through Devprayag (Rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag (Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakani), Karnprayag (Rivers Alaknanda and Pindar), and Nandprayag (Rivers Alaknanda and Nandakini). The four Garhwal Himalayan confluences are the most well-known ones. Ghat, a picturesque village in the area, is well-known for its beauty. Set up your camps for an overnight stay after you arrive to Ghat.
After breakfast, get on a typical Himalayan village vehicle and travel to Selu Bagar. It resembles a tiny point with a few shops or shacks in it, and it serves as the beginning point for the walk. It takes roughly 30 minutes to get here. You now encounter the horses and the porters. On this route of average difficulty, the trek begins.
You pass through the Ramni and Ghunni village villages en route. This section of road is particularly intriguing because you can observe locals going about their daily business, gorgeous Himalayan homes, and more. You journey to an open plateau directly above Ghunni after passing by a few village groups. You pitch your tents here to spend the night. Enjoy your meal and a restful night's sleep.
Today's long trip must be enjoyed while taking in some of the most breathtaking sights, thus it is imperative that you eat breakfast early and set out on the trail early. You are transported by train to the ridge's summit, above the Ghunni campground.
You reach an open floral meadow after crossing the crest, where you may take in a breathtaking vista of the Himalayan gems Chaukahmba and Nandsa Gunti. Additionally, there are lovely views of the now-submerged settlements of Ghunni and Ramni. Once you've had some time to relax, resume your hike through rhododendron woodland and later pasture grasslands, where you can see some nomadic homes, cattle, and sheep. The trail becomes challenging from here until becoming easy once more.
The Nanda Ghunti summit is clearly visible from the broad meadow where you enter. As you continue on the trail, you will reach Vinayak Pass, which is indicated by a small temple and a prayer flag. Admire the stunning vistas of the Himalayan peaks and a far-off glimpse of the Kuari pass from this pass. After there, there is a difficult walk through Sem Kharak before reaching Jhinjhi village. You should put up your encampment here. Dinner and a night's rest.
After breakfast on the fifth day, start your hike. Enjoy the sounds and views of the Jhinjhi village residents. From here, the trail descends through the settlement, then follows the valley floor till it ends at a suspension bridge that crosses over Birahi Ganga village.
Take the bridge that leads you to the right side of the valley. Continue on your journey via a zigzag section until you reach a ridge that provides views of the adjacent Himalayan villages and peaks. The picturesque rhododendron forests that transport you to the Kaliagad community in Pana village are something you pass through. Reach the campsite in the village after about a kilometre of downward walking. Staying in tents for dinner and the night.
Day 6: Start the walk after breakfast. It will take you above the campsite, over a rhododendron woodland, past a couple fall peaks, and eventually to the ridge. Continue your slow ascent until you reach Sartoli Meadow, a sheep and cow pasture.
You can see the Kurai Pass from here, where you can also start a short, downhill journey. Later on in the hike, you'll need to descend along the stream's edge and then climb extremely steeply over some loose glacial debris. You should utilise trekking poles in this location.
After you have crossed the brook, a sharp ascent will take you to the top of the ridge. The track continues upward until it leads you to another side stream beneath Dhakwani (3300 metres). For around 30 minutes, climb to the campsite. Set up camp when you get to your location, sip a cup of tea, and take in the scenery. Staying in tents for dinner and the night.
So that you won't miss some spectacular views at the pass, you get up early today and begin your walk. As you near the tree line, climb through the woodland. From here, you go through valley oasis on the left before making several switchbacks to the right to reach the Kuari Pass (3800 metres). You may see some absolutely stunning views of the Himalayan peaks covered in snow from this route.
Don't forget to take pictures. Following some downtime, continue your walk in a slightly ascending direction until you reach a hump with a nice view of Dronagiri summit. From here, you climb down to a point that leads you to the place where Tali and Tapovan diverge. As you travel on towards Tali, you eventually reach a location with a temple and prayer flags.
Enjoy the views of the Nanda Devi peak for a while. Now that you have travelled through pastureland and a forest, you have reached your campsite in Tali. Dinner and a night's rest.
Day 8 is a simpler day. After breakfast, make a short ascent across the mountain crest, which later becomes narrow and requires careful ascent to reach Gorson Meadows. The Himalayas are now totally enclosing you. Observe the towering Nanda Devi mountain in awe. Gorson Meadow is crossed over in a pleasant manner.
You have now travelled a few kilometres and can see Auli. The porters and the ponies are bid farewell at this point. You board a jeep at Auli and drive 13 km to (2550 metres), which is located there. Joshimath, also known as Jyotirmath, is a lovely hill town in addition to being a well-known religious hub. Register at your hotel and get some rest. Dinner and a night in the hotel you've already reserved.
On the ninth day of the journey, eat breakfast first thing in the morning. Drive in the direction of Rishikesh. Stop at Rudraprayag, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers converge, en route. Eat your lunch as you travel. After you arrive in Rishikesh, check into your hotel and do the check-in procedures. It is entirely up to you whether you want to take a city tour or just unwind in your room. Dinner and a night in a hotel in Rishikesh.
After breakfast on the final day of the tour, depart for Delhi. Get a drop-off with assistance at the Delhi Airport or Railway Station before boarding a train or a flight for your next destination.

The Booking:
Your contract is with Today Hospitality India Private Limited. When we confirm you on our tour of your choice and receive your signed booking form and deposits, we have formed a contract between us. All relevant sections must be correctly and completely completed. We can only accept signed booking forms because they confirm that you and the other people on the tour accept our booking terms and conditions and are entering into the contract.
Deposit:
Upon completion of the signed booking form a deposit of 50% of the tour cost per person, be paid to the company.
Payments:
To hold the booking on a confirmed basis, a 50% advance payment should be made for the services contracted, and the balance can be paid at least 7 days prior to your date of departure from your country. We reserve the right to determine the amount to be paid as an advance payment based on the nature of the services and the time remaining for the services to begin. Aside from the foregoing, in some cases, such as special train journeys or hotel or resort bookings during peak season (Christmas, New Year), full payment is required in advance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing to us at least a month prior to the date of arrival of the client. We levy the following cancellation charges.
No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other TTT services.
In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Bharat booking holidays will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
All hotel reservation require reconfirmation by the agent / customer atleast a one week prior to the date of check in failing which hotels reserve the right to levy atleast one night retention which is payable by the customer making reservation through us. Today Hospitality India Private Limited do not take any responsibility to make any refund on deposit to the clients until the same has been received by us from the hotel/s. If payment of the tour is through Credit Card charge then the contract is irrevocable.
If there is any complaint regarding services it should be communicated to Today Hospitality India Private Limited while the tour is still on. Refund, if any, will be made in Indian Rupees only in India before the departure at the end of the tour, as per the conversion rate prevailing at the time of refund. In case of any legal dispute the Jurisdiction will be New Delhi and Guwahati, India.
Refunds for unused services or shortening of tour due to genuine reason will be executed within 10 days of your returning to your home Country.

PRICES: Unless otherwise specified, advertised package prices are based on double occupancy rooms or cabins and the least expensive travel dates, departure city, hotels, and other options available, and do not include Optional Excursions or other optional items. Your total cost will vary depending on the dates, flights, hotels, and other options you choose when booking.
CONFIRMATION: We will confirm availability of all components and send you a confirmation email within 2-4 business days of receiving your booking and deposit. If any of the options or components you chose are not available, we will notify you and give you the option to modify your booking or cancel and receive a refund of your deposit.
YOUR PRICE MAY BE CHANGED ONLY IF: 1) you request changes or customizations to your booking; 2) new or increased government taxes or fees that apply to your package or its components are implemented; or 3) vendor costs applicable to your package or its components increase. BOOKING ON BEHALF OF OTHERS: If you make a booking for anyone other than yourself, you are considered the designated contact person for those other travelers. You are also responsible for making all payments due for your booking; notifying us if any changes or cancellations are required; and keeping the other travelers informed of all information relevant to your trip.
