After you have freshened yourself, you will depart on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. It is the state capital of Rajasthan and is known as the "Pink City." The city is dotted with great fortresses, palaces, and several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On the Jaipur sightseeing tour, you will view the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal.
City Palace – The palace is a fine example of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh erected the City Palace between 1729 and 1732, and it houses the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and City Palace Museum.
Jantar Mantar – Jantar Mantar, the world's biggest stone astronomical observatory, is famous for its rich culture, tradition, and scientific merits. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains nineteen stone and brass instruments. The position of celestial bodies can be observed with the naked eye using these devices.
Hawa Mahal – The majestic Hawa Mahal is a 'Palace of Winds' and is a notable landmark in Jaipur. It is composed of red and pink sandstone and has a pyramidal shape that almost resembles a crown. The term is derived from the unusual structure, which is a mesh of 953 tiny windows that allows cool breezes to enter the palace, keeping it undisturbed even during the scorching months.
